All roles within clubs that require PVG Checks

I’m contacting you all to provide an updated list of all roles which require the completion of a PVG check.

The relevant roles are listed below:

Club Coach Co-ordinator
Club Child Wellbeing and Protection Officer
Club Additional Signatory

Team Coach (level 1.2.or above)
Team Coach Assistant
Team Helper
Team Goalkeeping Coach

Team First Aider
Team Secretary

FTAO OF ALL CLUBS

I understand there is an urgent need across multiple regions for more additional signatories.

In order to alleviate this pressure, I am going to alter the process for issuing signatory codes with immediate effect.
Nominated trainers will now be able to issue codes directly to their members on successful completion of training.

Please read the below steps carefully as failure to do so may result in the issue of invalid codes or the need for repeat training.

SERYFA Team Lines must be used

Its been noticed that some teams are NOT using the offical SERYFA team lines for their games. The SERYFA official team line can be downloaded from the forms page of our website. Can all teams please download and use official SERYFA team line for all fixtures & friendlies (Except Scottish Cup Ties where team lines from the SYFA must be used)

Soccer Sevens going 11 aside MUST SEE INFO

Despite a number of messages from both the SYFA and SFA teams are continuing to breach rules by playing unauthorised 11 a side football at the 2007's age group.
Teams should now be aware that continuing breach of rules will lead to action being taken against the team and Club.
Action that can be taken -
The SYFA can either impose fines on teams and suspensions of team officials
The SFA can take action against the Club by reconsidering their quality mark.

Dear Club and League Secretaries
Please find below some information in relation to the previous correspondence regarding the Child Wellbeing and Protection training that all officials are now required to complete.
SYFA, along with the Scottish FA are working together to implement positive and consistent practices in relation to Child Wellbeing and Protection.
